Entertainment for the 80th Annual North Iowa Band Festival will include a variety of musical genres.
To kick off the entertainment on Friday evening Betty and the Gents will entertain people of all ages with a mix of classic and modern hits. Following their set, headliner The Dweebs, known for their high energy performances, are sure to get you on your feet and clapping along!
On Saturday evening, Iowa married music duo Brad + Kate will perform a variety of music, along with original hits. To round out the evening entertainment lineup, Decoy out of Des Moines, IA, will take the stage. One of the most sought-after party bands in the Midwest, their concert begs for crowd participation and is sure to impress!
Local musicians from the Mason City Municipal Band and students from the Mason City Middle School Band, High School Jazz Band and High School Orchestra will play on The Plaza throughout the weekend. The Mohawk Danzers will perform as well, so you are sure to enjoy the “totally 80s” Band Festival. Festival activities, which also include a carnival and marketplace, will take place May 24-28, 2018 in downtown Mason City. Thanks to the support of the Friends of the Festival campaign and major sponsors, this event provides a full weekend of entertainment for the North Iowa community free of charge.
