The Ag Tour is an annual event led by the Chamber’s Agribusiness Committee. The tour provides the opportunity for individuals to see and learn about various agricultural industries that are important in the North Iowa community.
The 2016 annual Ag Tour is scheduled from 2PM-4PM on Thursday, September 8th at the NIACC Farm Lab, located at 500 College Drive in Mason City.
The NIACC Farm Lab consists of 260 no-till acres, 110 acres of pasture, livestock facilities for the swine and beef breeding herds, and provides Ag students with “hands-on” learning experiences in the areas of crop protection and management, precision farming technology, crop and livestock management, show pig and club calf production, and business planning and decision making. This is your chance to learn more about this great program offered right in our backyard!
This free tour is presented by the Chamber Agribusiness Committee. If you are interested in attending, please register by contacting Kativa or calling the Chamber at 641-423-5724 .
