Chamber Named Finalist for National Award

The Mason City Chamber of Commerce has been named a finalist for a national award presented by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE).  ACCE’s Regional Innovation Award recognizes organizations and alliances that are committed to building strong and vibrant communities through groundbreaking collaboration and program development.

 

This year’s award, which will be announced on August 10 in Savannah, will recognize a chamber that is investing in health and wellness.  Our chamber’s work with Mason City’s Blue Zones Project® partners to assist in sustaining the Worksite Committee efforts was praised by ACCE as a best practice.  The other finalists for the award are the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce, the Greater Rochester (NY) Chamber, and the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.
