The Community Concierge service is already working with several new residents as they transition to North Iowa. We want to assist your business as well! A referral to the Community Concierge will help you recruit and RETAIN top-level employees. Our Concierge, Colleen Frein, uses a high-touch approach to assist a prospective or new employee and their family as they relocate to the Mason City area. This includes a personalized tour; assistance with trailing spouse employment; locating quality temporary housing; and introductions to schools, childcare services, service clubs, places of worship, etc.
A referral to the Community Concierge service is just $175. That investment in your new employee will ensure they feel welcome in their new city, and it will pay off for years to come! Colleen will do her part to help all family members forge a network of friends and colleagues, which will entice them to make North Iowa their permanent home.
We are also revamping our Concierge Card to correspond with this new program. Employers or new residents can purchase a card for $100, allowing them to try five different services from Chamber member providers. The goal is to help new residents find a service provider they like, which will lead to new customers for the business! We already have a wide variety of participating businesses on the 2017 Concierge Card Menu, including automotive, financial, legal, pet, and health services. In addition to these services, we are working on publishing a comprehensive relocation guide. It will be available later this spring for Chamber member businesses and organizations to use as a recruitment tool.
