Frein and Weitzel Receive Scholarship

Membership Director & Community Concierge Colleen Frein and Program Director Kativa Weitzel were recently awarded scholarships to furthering their professional development and better serve the members of the Chamber of Commerce.

Frein and Weitzel were each awarded a Regent Scholarship by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. They will attend the Institute of Organization Management (IOM) program in Tucson, Arizona in January 2019. Frein will be completing her fourth and final year at IOM; this is Weitzel's second year of training.

Awarded to professionals across the country, Regent Scholarships recognize each recipient for their involvement in industry professional organizations, community service, and professional background. IOM is a 4-year professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. It is the premier nonprofit professional development program for association and chamber professionals, which fosters individual growth through interactive learning and networking opportunities.
