Nominations Open for Prestigious Chamber Awards

Do you know of a person or small business that has made a significant impact within your organization or on the business community?  Has your worksite gone above and beyond in implementing health and wellbeing initiatives?  Help us honor their achievements at the Chamber’s 100th Anniversary Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 6 by nominating them for one of three significant awards!

Nominations are now open for Small Business of the Year and Boss of the Year.  Forms are available at the Chamber or on our website under “Member Zone – Forms.”  You have until Friday, August 26 to submit a nomination form to the Business Resource Committee.

New this year is an award to honor worksite wellness achievements in our business community.  The Chamber’s Worksite Wellness Committee, in partnership with the Blue Zones Project® and the Cerro Gordo County Department of Public Health, is proud to announce the first annual Workplace Wellness Award and Recognition program.

Applications for the Workplace Wellness Award and Recognition program are also available on our website under “Member Zone – Forms.”  They are due by August 31, and will be scored by the Worksite Wellness Committee.

The recipients of all three awards, along with the Distinguished Citizen award, will be announced at the Chamber’s 100th Anniversary Annual Meeting on Thursday, October 6.
