Krull and Frein Receive Scholarships

Mason City Chamber employees were awarded scholarships to attend the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute of Organization Management program in Madison, Wisconsin, June 12-16. The Institute program is a 4-year professional development program of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. It is the premier nonprofit professional development program for association and chamber professionals, fostering individual growth through interactive learning and networking opportunities.

Allyson Krull, Marketing and Leadership Development Director, has been awarded a Regent Scholarship by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. Given to professionals across the country, the Regent Scholarships recognize each recipient for their involvement in industry professional organizations, community service, and professional background.

Program Director Colleen Frein received two scholarships from the Iowa Chamber of Commerce Executives (ICCE). ICCE supports professional development as a means to strengthen the industry as well as local communities. Each year ICCE offers these scholarships to state, regional, and national association meetings and events for continuing education.
