China Info Session – March 29

A no-obligation informational meeting about the Mason City Area Chamber of Commerce’s fall trip to China will be held at 5PM on Wednesday, March 29 at the North Iowa Regional Commerce Center, 9 N Federal Ave. The meeting will be held in an open-house format. The Chamber is hosting a memorable 9-day journey for members and guests for the fourth time since 2011. This will be a cost-effective opportunity for business people and others to become familiar with some of China’s major cities, experience their centuries-old customs and history, and gain a better understanding of Chinese business practices and customs.

Participants will witness China’s rapidly changing economy and expanding role in the global marketplace. The trip is scheduled from October 16-24, 2017 and will visit the cities of Beijing, Xi’an, and Shanghai. The tour also goes to several top tourist attractions, including the Great Wall, Forbidden City, and the Terra Cotta Army. Those who are interested in this unique immersion into the Chinese culture, as well as the opportunity to visit the U.S. Embassy in Beijing (and meet with Governor Terry Branstad), please contact Allyson for details at 641-423-5724 or attend the informational meeting.
