Visit Mason City launches
new award program
Expressing a sense of welcome and good cheer, the
pineapple is a centuries-old symbol of hospitality. A pineapple
placed on the porch, door or entrance welcomed visitors.
Home and hospitality warmly embrace friends. Genuine
welcome makes lasting connections.
In an effort to recognize the tourism partners who make a
lasting impression on visitors to our community, Visit Mason
City has launched a new award program. Visitors to Mason city
hotels, attractions and restaurants are encouraged to vote for
the venue(s) where their experience exceeded their
expectations.
Votes will be collected through September 1st via the online
survey as well as paper ballots submitted to Visit Mason City.
Ballots and ballot boxes are available at the Mason City Visitor
Center, as well as various locations throughout the community.
The enterprise that receives the most favorable responses in each category (hotel,
attraction, and restaurant) will be recognized with Visit Mason City’s “Golden Pineapple
Hospitality Award”!
