Global Familiarization Trips

The Chamber views Global Familiarization Trips as a way to assist in our transition
to a global economy. The program goal is to help travelers better understand
other cultures and customs, bringing the people of the world closer together.

Australia/New Zealand: South Pacific Wonders 

Visit Australia and explore the Great Barrier Reef and the beautiful city of Sydney. Then,
continue on to the South Island of New Zealand to experience all of its breath-taking scenery.

Discover Puerto Rico

While Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, there is much to learn about this small but mighty
island. Area businesses have put a greater emphasis on recruiting Puerto Ricans, and the
Chamber has identified a need for better understanding of their culture. This trip will be a
familiarization tour of Puerto Rico’s customs, people, and workforce, with the ultimate goal of enhancing current recruitment and retention efforts.
