State of North Iowa Event Scheduled for 2024

The Chamber has scheduled the 2024 State of North Iowa for Thursday, January 18 at the Muse-Norris Conference Center at NIACC.

The State of North Iowa is an opportunity to hear directly from city and county leadership from Mason City, Clear Lake, and Greater North Iowa as they highlight recent accomplishments, outline future goals, and offer ideas about current business and community issues. This event complements the Vision North Iowa strategic planning efforts.

The State of North Iowa will be held from 8-10AM on Thursday, January 18 at NIACC. This year’s event will focus on two industries that affect North Iowa’s economy: renewable fuels and childcare.

The renewable fuels industry is crucial to the growth and success of North Iowa. With new projects on the horizon and existing organizations operating within our borders such as Chevon REG, Golden Grain Energy, and POET Biorefining of Hanlontown, it is important to highlight the impact that this industry has had and continues to have on Greater North Iowa.

Childcare is top of mind at the Chamber. Following a matched grant from the state of Iowa, the Chamber and Child Care Works have set their sights on providing much-needed relief to the childcare industry.

Attendees will hear updates from experts in both of these respective industries. Tickets for the event are $25 and can be purchased here.
