Annual appreciation event to be held each March at the North Iowa Fairgrounds. Projected attendance: 300-400 people. Ag Breakfast is an annual event to bring farm and business together for an early morning breakfast served by Chamber volunteers. A speaker presents the message connecting farm and city.
Sposorship: $500 (limit 3)
Annual Award Recognition to be held the first Thursday in October. Projected attendance: 275-325 business people. This annual event highlights the organization’s accomplishments and recognizes individuals, businesses and organizations for achievements. This luncheon event features “A Taste of North Iowa.”
Annual winter bowling event scheduled each February. Projected attendance 160-200 people. Chamber Bowl is a fun social event that handles 28 teams of 6 players; supper is provided and lots of prizes are awarded. This event is a 3-night event held at Mystic Lanes in Mason City.
Free summer program for college interns, designed to connect young workers to our community and to each other. Social and educational activities take place once-a-week throughout June and July.
Participation Fee: $395
Educational and informational 12-week course held at various locations. The Leadership North Iowa program is designed to identify and develop future leaders in our community. Participants will learn leadership skills and complete a service project. Tuition includes instruction, study materials, professional photo, refreshments, graduation party and a one-year membership to the Mason City Jaycees. Sponsor and/or business names and participants are listed in the newsletter.
New Member Luncheon
Informational introduction to the Chamber hosted in the spring and fall. Projected attendance: 20-30 people. This noon luncheon is a great opportunity for new members to learn about the value of Chamber membership and connect with one another in a fun, informal networking environment.
Sponsorship: $100 Packet Sponsorship
Networking event/annual holiday social gathering to be held the second Thursday in December. Projected attendance: 65 people delivering to Chamber businesses and 150-200 at evening social gathering. Operation Thank You is one of the Chamber’s most volunteer driven events. Chamber volunteers call on member businesses to say “Thank You” and deliver a packet containing the new Membership Directory, CMO cards and other important information. Event begins early in morning with coffee and treats and is capped off with a holiday party.

Annual tour held every fall highlighting a local agriculture business. Sites visited in the past include: Sukup Manufacturing, Cartersville Elevator, Five-Star Coop, Manly Terminal, ConAgra Foods, Weaver Family Hog Facility, Mitas Tires, Kuhn Family Farm, Hagie Manufacturing, Cyclone Cattle Sale, Fertile Valley Gardens, etc.
Business After Hours
Networking event, one each month, at varying locations. Projected attendance: 100-125 business people per event. Business After Hours is the Chamber’s most popular get-together where members can meet, exchange business cards, and talk business in a relaxed and informal setting.

Annual can’t-miss summer event to be held the fourth Thursday of June. Projected attendance 150-200 people. Chamber Golf Outing is a great networking event to invite clients, co-workers and friends.

Memorial Day Weekend
The Chamber’s signature event and only community parade and free musical entertainment festival. Projected attendance: Estimated 50,000 people viewing parade, 5,000-7,000 people at the park festivities. North Iowa Band Festival provides a weekend of wholesome family entertainment at little or no cost to promote and celebrate the rich musical heritage of North Iowa. It provides an atmosphere and venue to showcase young musicians who are becoming a part of that heritage. Several sponsorship packages are available.
