Leah O’Connell has recently joined the Chamber staff for the summer as a Marketing/
Events Intern. Leah was a former YIELD student and graduated from Newman Catholic High School in 2023. She just completed her sophomore year at The University of Northern Iowa, and is expecting to graduate in May of 2027 with a degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Marketing.
Leah’s role at the Chamber includes assisting with North Iowa Band Fest, Moonlight Bike Ride, the annual Golf Outing, and College Connections. She will also help monitor and manage website and social media content for the Chamber.
At UNI, Leah has completed many graphic design and marketing classes and looks forward to working with the Marketing/Events team throughout the summer to learn as much as she can. In her free time, she enjoys being active and hanging out with friends and family. She is grateful for this opportunity and is excited to meet and work with people throughout the community this summer.
