Advocating for the North Iowa business community is one of the primary responsibilities of the Greater Mason City Chamber of Commerce, and an important part of that includes advocating in person with federal representatives and elected officials.
Each May, the Chamber leads a group of community leaders to Washington, D.C. to meet with Members of Congress and federal department representatives. These meets have led to millions of dollars in federal investment in our region.
Advocacy priorities include healthcare model sustainability, immigration reform, housing, workforce, and child care.
