Bringing together a panel of elected officials from the city, state, and federal levels directly supports our strategic goal of strengthening communication between the business community and our community leadership. This communication helps promote efficiency and create an environment where businesses can grow. Effective public policy is shaped through open dialogue, and businesses have an important role in helping elected officials understand the opportunities, challenges, and real-world impacts of the decisions they make.
This panel gives attendees a valuable opportunity to hear directly from leaders at multiple levels of government about how they approach their work, how businesses can effectively engage with them, and why ongoing communication matters. It can also make business advocacy feel more accessible. Advocacy is about building relationships, sharing perspectives, providing useful information, and creating an ongoing exchange of ideas.
We hope attendees leave with a clearer understanding of what meaningful business advocacy looks like and greater confidence in participating in the process. Our elected leaders want and need feedback from the communities they serve. By creating opportunities for candid conversation and stronger relationships, we can help ensure the voice of business is heard and contribute to better-informed decisions at every level of government.
