Allyson Krull was hired as the Marketing & Leadership Development Director in 2014 and was promoted to Vice President of Workforce & Leadership Development in 2023. In Allyson’s role as Vice President, she directs Leadership North Iowa, College Connections, YIELD, and other leadership programming. She also oversees the Chamber’s workforce attraction/retention programming and Global Familiarization tours.
She attended Iowa State University where she completed the Honors Program and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology in 2008. In 2018, Krull earned the IOM designation from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s Institute for Organization Management. In 2021, Allyson was selected for the U.S. Chamber’s Business Leads Fellowship Program to focus on critical education and workforce issues. She has led numerous community project initiatives for North Iowa and serves on the Governor’s North Central STEM Advisory Board. In 2022, Allyson was selected for Leadership Iowa, the state’s premier issues-awareness and leadership program for Iowa professionals, and in 2025 was selected for the American Chamber of Commerce Executive’s (ACCE) Next Generation leadership program.
Originally from Northwood, Iowa, Allyson returned to North Iowa in September of 2013 with her husband, Chad, who farms in rural Northwood. The Krulls have two children, Kendall and Evan, and enjoy traveling, camping, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Cyclones!
