Nate Ruge is excited to be joining the Greater Mason City Chamber of Commerce team as the new Membership Director in 2026.

Nate comes to the Chamber from the United Way of North Central Iowa, where relationship-building was at the heart of his work. Through that experience, he saw firsthand the value of Chamber membership and the impact it can have on both businesses and the broader community. Connections formed at Chamber events often go beyond handshakes, developing into partnerships, shared ideas, and meaningful community impact.

The Chamber creates opportunities for members to connect with people they may not otherwise cross paths with, engage in meaningful conversations, and collaborate in ways that benefit individual businesses while strengthening the entire community.

In his new role, Nate’s goal is simple: to help members get the most out of their Chamber membership. Whether through making introductions, identifying the right events, or connecting members with one another, he is eager to support and serve the Chamber community.
