CEO Conversations – August 18

The next CEO Conversations is scheduled from 11:30AM-1PM on Thursday, August 18 at the Commerce Center, featuring Chuck Tryon from Bushel Boy Farms. Sponsored by First Citizens Bank, this educational series features well-recognized CEOs in a small group gathering where participants can glean sage advice to further their careers.

Bushel Boy President Chuck Tryon’s roots in the food and agriculture industry run deep. Inspired by his father’s career in the grocery business and his overall love of food, Chuck earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations with a focus on international commerce and agriculture trade, followed by an MBA in marketing from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business. He spent two decades at food giants Pillsbury and General Mills, where he harnessed his passion for sustainability and premium-branded specialty vegetables.

Chuck joined the Bushel Boy team in 2020, applying his 30 years of experience in agriculture and food safety to help the brand meet its significant growth initiatives in an increasingly competitive industry. Chuck also leads his team in company culture, community involvement and product innovation.

Attendance is limited to 20 participants to encourage meaningful conversation. Registration is $20 and includes a catered lunch. Following the session, Chamber members are invited to attend the Ag Tour at 3PM at Bushel Boy Farms.
