Hello, my name is Nate Ruge, and I’m excited to be joining the Greater Mason City Chamber of Commerce team as your new Membership Director here in 2026!
I come to the Chamber after working at the United Way of North Central Iowa, where relationships were at the heart of everything we did. One thing I saw again and again was how valuable Chamber membership can be. The connections made through Chamber events never stopped at handshakes—they turn into partnerships, shared ideas, and real impact in our community.
The Chamber creates opportunities to meet people you might not otherwise cross paths with, have meaningful conversations, and find ways to work together. Those relationships benefit each individual business and strengthens our entire community.
In my new role, my goal is simple: to help you get the most out of your Chamber membership. Whether that’s making introductions, finding the right events for you, or helping you connect with other members, I’m here to help.
